This is for the Stooshnoff Family:
There is major lightning shows every night, with some extreme FORKS!! Sheets as well, but the forks are way better. Strikes would probably count up to 1500 or more per night, I never stay up long enough to count. As for rain. Well basically it only rains at night... if it does rain though you basically have up to 15 seconds to get under cover or your soaked from head to toe. It goes from sprinkle sprinkle for 10 seconds to straight on monsoon in 5 seconds, everyone goes running for cover.
There will be some good camera bideos to watch when we get back.
Tomorrow morning we are heading to Koh Tao, a small island known for diving and snorkeling.

Yup, tomorrow we are heading for Ko Tao, a snorkelling island. Our trip today to Mad Hadd was cancelled as it was low tide and summer, so it is not great snorkelling conditions. Ko Toa has loads of good coral reefs so snorkelling should be great. The accomodations will be less than great though, as A/C is expensive...so fan room it is. I think. Only time will tell.

Hi guys ... lightening? I'm jealous .. you know how much I love those kind of storms! I'm really looking forward to seeing your video's!
Thanks for keeping us so up-to-date on your travels .. I'm really enjoying reading your input. It's way better than sitting here worrying and feeling cut off from you.
This blog stuff is pretty cool although, even with Syd's help, I still haven't been successful at getting your address into my favourites. Actually, the address IS in my favourites but when I click on it, nothing happens. Syd saved the day though by sending me your's and Cam's links so I'm keeping the e-mail and that's what I use when I want to read your updates.
Sounds like you're still having a great time, even with the monsoons. Just be careful though snorkeling in those coral reefs eh? Getting a cut can be pretty dangerous, not to mention painful.
And, need I say it again Darcie? Put a coat on when you go out in the sun .. or at the very least, a good dose of suntan lotion.
I'm doing fine .. sort of. Seems there's a nasty "pooping" bug going around which Gregg, Gena and I have caught and who know's who else? I've got four days this week to babysit Gena .. question is, can I get from point A to point B without an explosion? Last Friday, Rae-Lynn was driving me to King George Station and we had to make an emergency stop at the Days Inn by the station .. major explosion! Then I got on the train and had to hit Scruffy's bar at New West.Station for another explosive event. Holy crap (precisely) .. why me? .. giggle, giggle.
Today I'm staying close to my best friend (the toilet) and am working on my Emory Creek Appreciation Day project. It's all coming together nicely so I'm feeling pretty good about it.
There's an Emory board meeting tomorrow and I've put in a request to leave Norm's trailer up on E-level until the flood threat is over. We're going to tow the big one down but if things get a bit hairy and we have to tow back up in a hurry, better for Norm to have to only worry about towing one than two.
Anyhow ... enough already. Keep keeping safe. Love you both ..

Hi Guys! Sounds like you guys are having an awesome time...nice sunburn Darce! Your pics are beautiful. What a romantic/exciting honeymoon. Can't wait to see more pics and your videos....you'll have to have a party when you come back so you can walk us through all your adventures. How's the belly holdin' up? Things are busy round here, but we're finally getting the summer weather. Today it supposed to be 28! Lovely. So miss you lots, and can't wait until your back so we can go on a golf & dinner date. Keep having fun, be safe and WEAR SUNSCREEN.

OK ... I know I'm being impatient but it's been two days since we last heard from you .. either you're having WAY too much fun (how dare you?!) or you got your snorkels caught up on a coral reef.
Anyhow ... I'm babysitting Gena this week and today Syd, Keaton, Gena and I went to Bear Creek Water Park to "play" ... actually, Syd played with the kids while Grannie here, sat under a tree in the shade. It was beastly hot and I was ever so glad when they turned the water spouts on! Keaton was good enough to dump a hatfull of water all over me and then Gena and I got caught in an unexpected waterfall. I don't know who jumped the highest .. Gena or me but it sure felt good to get wet!
I'm babysitting again tomorrow and Friday and it's supposed to be just as hot so we'll see how that turns out. Maybe Gena and I will just immerse ourselves in a bathtub of cold water and stay there for the day?
Hope you're both OK ...
Love ya ... Mom
