Hello to all....Because you are reading this, i guess it means we made it. Well we did, but not after the longest day of our lives. 13.5 hour flight to hong kong, 2 hour layover while getting harassed due to our home printer "E-ticket" ( i guess they have never seen these on this side of the world), 2.5 more hours to bankok. After sneaking by the hoards of people trying to get us on their taxi, we found our way downstairs to the government run taxis and 1 hour later, we made it to our hotel.
It is HOT here....well more humid than hot, but either way, I am sweating. Full time sweating.
Having lots of fun so far, just walking around town and getting accustomed to things.
Well....it's now Darcie's turn to write, as we only have a couple minutes on here.

ok now it's my turn to tell all about the near scam by a so called univeristy student, who seemed very nice at the time, just trying to give us pointers. but as it turned out after reading in the lonely planet and also seeing a bulletin at the local travel agency yeah it was a full on scam. hmmm maybe thats' why as soon as we were finished getting haggled by the "university student" who wanted to show us a taylor shop where you buy suits, and telling us the goverment is having a one day only discount sale day, that''s why a tuk tuk suddenly showed up not 2 seconds down the road trying to get us to go to see the buddha. he says for only 10 baht ( 30 cents) wwe could get a all day tour of the buddha's and taylor shops. yeah good thing I have IBS problems we didn't end up going with him. Apparently they take you to the jewel store, lock the door, make you use all your money. we smarter then them anyways. Bangkok, very disguisting. It's smells of deep fried from meat, and smoke from all the cars. paradise is waiting down south.

So umm...what's going on now. Do you realize that it's been a week since you left, and Keaton has not stopped asking for Auntie Dawcie and Uncle Myk! Do you have any idea how difficult and tedious it is to explain to him that you aren't going to be back for another 3 weeks? Doesn't really sink in...trust me. He doesn't get it!
So did you guys get kidnapped by crazy Thai's on freaky richshaws? Or have you made it to your shangri-la? and you're ignoring everyone 'cause you're on your HONEYMOON!!!!???
